Geashill NS - Nativity Play 2011

Children from Geashill NS performed their Nativity Play
in Raheen Church on Wednesday 21st December 2011 in
front of a large crowd. The children had practiced very
hard and performed very well on the night.

Geashill N.S. Hosts Nativity Play 2010

The children from Geashill N.S. performed their
annual Nativity Play in Raheen Church on Wednesday
night 20th December in front of a large crowd.
Pupils from 1st and 2nd classes played the leading
characters of Mary, Joseph, Shepherds, angels,
innkeepers, Herod and the Three Kings.
Junior and Senior Infants performed an action
poem called "Busy, Busy, Busy."
The choir, which was made up of 3rd to 6th
classes, sang a beautiful selection of carols,
played tin whistles and performed "The First
Noel" using bells.
As Geashill N.S. has a special class for Deaf
children, the evening ended appropriately with
5th and 6th classes wishing the large crowd a
Happy Christmas using Sign Language.
